Oi Va Voi have long been standard bearers of musical exploration and artistic integrity. their unique blend of traditional Jewish, eastern european and balkan instrumentation with modern songwriting rooted in their urban surroundings, have established the band as a leading light in modern crossover music.
A Top 10 Album Of The Year listing with The New York Times upon the release of their debut album helped set the band on their way to becoming an internationally renowned band. Further awards and accolades have followed throughout their career which has so far seen them release four studio albums and tour the world with an explosive live show.
The band mix subtle, dynamic rhythms and western melodic sensibility with the folk music of their Jewish and East European heritage and deliver it live with a trademark energy and dynamism.
